TEST Body has its own laboratory. Testing Laboratory is accredited with No. AB 1552 issued by the Polish Centre for Accreditation in Warsaw, a signatory to EA MLA and ILAC MRA on mutual recognition of test results.
Tests carried out by TEST Body Laboratory may be used as:
- product tests required in the certification process in both TEST Body and other certification bodies across the European Union,
- control tests during the process of certification or recertification,
- engineering, operating, control and between-stages tests of manufactured goods.
Testing Laboratory of TEST Body carries out tests at the Laboratory’s registered office, at the manufacturer or the location specified by the customer. The scope of tests depends on the specifics of machinery, equipment, product. For each topic we approach individually by presenting possible solutions, the scope of tests and quotation. Fire tests
- flammability of electrical and optical fiber cables, using 1 kW pre-mixed flame and diffusion flame. Test method for resistance to vertical flame propagation for a single insulated wire or electrical cable or fiber optic cable, while direct exposure to fire,
- flammability of plastic materials using test flame 50W by the horizontal and vertical position of the sample. Methodology designed to compare the behavior of the various materials used in electrotechnical products during burning.
Mechanical and strength tests
- tensile strength of metals and metal elements in the range up to 1000 kN, elongation measure in the range up to 100 mm. We carry out the tests in compliance with accredited method described in the standard PN-EN ISO 6892-1:2010,
- bending strength of metals and metal elements in the range up to 1000 kN. We carry out the tests in compliance with accredited method described in the standard PN-EN ISO 7438:2006,
Pressure tests
- hydrostatic of hoses and high pressure hydraulic hoses up to 2500 bar (250 MPa), including destructive tests,
- hydrostatic of hydraulic elements, valve blocks, valve batteries, hydraulic drives, control systems,
- hydrostatic of elements and hydrant valves,
Physical properties tests
- geometrical, linear, angular measurements,
- surface roughness measurements,
- protective and safety coating thickness measurements,
- thickness measurements by ultrasonic method,
IP and IK degrees of protection
- degree of protection provided by enclosures (IP code) in compliance with the requirements of the standard PN-EN 60529:2003,
- degree of protection against external mechanical impacts provided by enclosures of electrical devices (IK code) in compliance with the requirements of the standard PN-EN 50102:2001.
Flameproof enclosures tests
- geometrical measurements,
- enclosure strength to pressure, static and dynamic pressure load,
